A RESOLUTION APPROVING A QUIT CLAIM DEED
TRANSFERRING LAND BY PUEBLO, A MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION TO THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN COUNCIL, INC.
BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA AND AUTHORIZING THE
PRESIDENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO EXECUTE SAME
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1
The Quit Claim Deed dated October 23, 1995 between Pueblo, a municipal corporation, as grantor
and Rocky Mountain Council, Inc. Boy Scouts of America, a Colorado corporation, as grantee, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, having been approved as to form by the City
Attorney, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2
The City Council does hereby find and determine that the land described in the Quit Claim Deed
is surplus to the City's needs.
SECTION 3
The President of the City Council is authorized to execute and deliver the Quit Claim Deed in the
name of Pueblo, a municipal corporation, and the City Clerk is directed to affix the seal of the City thereto
and attest same.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THIS DEED, Made this 2 3rd day of October, 1995, between
PUEBLO, a Municipal Corporation, of the County of Pueblo and State
of Colorado, grantor, and ROCKY MOUNTAIN COUNCIL, INC. BOY SCOUTS
OF AMERICA, a Colorado Corporation, whose legal address is P.O. Box
3292, Pueblo, CO 81005 of the County of Pueblo and State of
Colorado, grantee.
WITNESSETH, That the grantor for and in consideration of the
sum of Ten Dollars and other good and valuable consideration, the
receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, has
remised, released, sold and QUIT CLAIMED, and by these presents
does remise, release, sell and QUIT CLAIM unto the grantee, its
successors and assigns, forever, all the right, title, interest,
claim and demand which the grantor has in and to the real property,
together with improvements, if any, situate, lying and being in the
County of Pueblo and State of Colorado, described as follows:
Commencing at the SW corner of Section 34, T -20 -S,
R -65 -W; thence S 89 °- 49' -30 °E a distance of 50.00 ft.;
thence N 0 a distance of 123.00 ft. to the point of
beginning of Parcel No. 1; thence continuing N0 a
distance of 494.07 ft.; thence N89 a distance of
97.49 ft. to a point on the west right -of -way line of
Colo. State Hwy. #45; thence SO°- 03 -01 along said
right -of -way line a distance of 37.06 ft.; thence S02°-
44 -38 along said right -of -way line a distance of
456.80 ft. to a point; thence S89 24 -27 a distance of
116.95 ft. to the point of beginning.
This quit claim deed is made upon the express condition
that grantee will not sell or transfer title to the real
property prior to January 1, 2006 without the written
consent of the grantor. If grantee sells or transfers
title to the real property prior to January 1, 2006
without the written consent of grantor, grantor will have
the right of re -entry for breach of the condition and
will be entitled to a reconveyance of the real property.
In that event, grantee's reconveyance to grantor will be
made by special warranty deed. For purposes hereof, "sell
or transfer title to the real property" does not include
grantee's encumbering the real property by mortgage or
deed of trust or any subsequent sale or transfer of title
to the real property by the mortgagee or public trustee
under any such mortgage or deed of trust based upon
grantee's default thereunder.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, together with all and singular
and appurtenances and privileges thereunto belonging or in anywise
thereunto appertaining, and all the estate, right, title, interest
and claim whatsoever, of the grantor, either in law or equity, to
the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the grantee, its
stj7Ws and assigns forever.
