THE CITY OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) DRAFT STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES
AND ACTIVITIES FOR 1995
The City Council of Pueblo, Colorado, proposes the following objectives for use of CDBG funds in 1995 that will be included in the 1995 Consolidated Plan.
CDBG funds are intended to provide decent housing, suitable living environment and economic opportunities, principally for low— and moderate — income
persons through rehabilitation and preservations, economic,/job development and public facilities improvements.
It is estimated that approximately $1,855,000 in CDBG funds will be received by the City of Pueblo in 1995, along with program income from Housing Loan
paybacks of approximately $85,000. It is the intent of the City of Pueblo that approximately 70% of the program funds would benefit the needs of low— and
moderate —income persons. Permanent involuntary displacement of neighborhood persons or businesses is not anticipated. Any low— and moderate —
income housing which is demolished or converted will be replaced in compliance with the CDBG regulations.
