HomeMy WebLinkAbout7449RESOLUTION NO. 7449 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY FOR THE MAIN STREET BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS THEREFOR WHEREAS, the City Council, by Resolution Number 7352, authorized the City Manager or his designated representative to negotiate for and on behalf of the City, the acquisition of certain real property for public improvements associated with the Main Street Bridge Replacement Project; and WHEREAS, Contracts to Buy and Sell Real Estate have been executed by several of the affected property owners contingent upon approval by resolution of the City Council; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City, Contracts to Buy and Sell Real Estate for properties listed in Exhibit "A ". SECTION 2. Funds for said property acquisition, in an amount not to exceed $115,000, shall be paid from Account Number 44 -1994- 100 - 000 - 040 -0040. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective upon final passage.
