A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY
FOR THE MAIN STREET BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT,
AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS THEREFOR
WHEREAS, the City Council, by Resolution Number 7352, authorized the
City Manager or his designated representative to negotiate for and on behalf
of the City, the acquisition of certain real property for public improvements
associated with the Main Street Bridge Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, Contracts to Buy and Sell Real Estate have been executed by
several of the affected property owners contingent upon approval by resolution
of the City Council; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and
on behalf of the City, Contracts to Buy and Sell Real Estate for properties
listed in Exhibit "A ".
SECTION 2.
Funds for said property acquisition, in an amount not to exceed $115,000,
shall be paid from Account Number 44 -1994- 100 - 000 - 040 -0040.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective upon final passage.

1. 626 South Main Street
The East 100 feet of Lots 1 and 2, Block 1 in Wayland Place, a
subdivision of Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6, of Block "R" in the former
town of South Pueblo, according to the recorded plat thereof,
filed for record October 8, 1889.
2. 630 South..Mai.n Street
Lot 3, Block 1 in Wayland Place, a subdivision of Lots 3, 4, 5
and 6, of Block "R" in the former town of South Pueblo, according
to the recorded plat thereof, filed for record October 8, 1889,
EXCEPT the Southwesterly 13 feet thereof.

Lot 4, EXCEPT that part described as follows:

that lies Northwesterly of a line drawn parallel to the South-
easterly side line of South Main Street and 13 feet distance

Colorado.

Lot 5, Block 1 in Wayland Place, a subdivision of Lots 3, 4,
5 and 6, of Block "R" in the former town of South Pueblo,
according to the recorded plat thereof, filed for record
October 8, 1889.
5. 640 South Main Street
Lot 6, Block 1, Wayland Place, EXCLUDING that part of said
Lot lying Southeast of the Northwest line of the alley if
said alley were extended to the intersection of Corona Avenue,
in Block "R ", South Pueblo, County of Pueblo, State of Colorado.

and to the above bargained premises, with the hereditaments and appurtenances.
To HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises above bargained and described, with the
appurtenances, unto the grantee, its successors and assigns forever. And the grantor, for
himself, his heirs and personal representatives, does covenant, grant, bargain, and
agree to and with the grantee, it's successors and assigns, that at the time of the
enameling and delivery of these presents, he is well seised of the premises above
conveyed, has good, sure, perfect, absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance, in
law, in fee simple, and has good right, full power and lawful authority to grant,

The grantor shall and will WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND the above - bargained premises
in the quiet and peaceable possession of the grantee, its its successors assigns, against
all and every person or persons lawfully claiming the whole or any part thereof. The
singular number shall include the plural, the plural the singular, and the use of any
