HomeMy WebLinkAbout7270J RESOLUTION NO. 7270 • RESOLUTION APPROVING LEASE ADDENDUM #1 BETWEEN PUEBLO, • MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, AND THE HERTZ CORPORATION AND AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO EXECUTE SAME Be it resolved by the City Council of Pueblo, Colorado, that: The Lease Addendum dated December 13th, 1993 between the City of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, and The Hertz Corporation relating to the rental of counter space at the Pueblo Memorial Airport, a copy of which is attached hereto, having been approved by the City Attorney as to form, is hereby approved. 6T *kd I+� The President of the City Council is hereby authorized to execute the Lease Addendum in the name of the City and the City Clerk is directed to affix the seal of the City thereto and attest same. ATTEST: Cit Clerk I INTRODUCED December 13, 1993 By JOYCE LAWRENCE Councilperson APPROVED: 6 Presid nt of City Council LEASE ADDENDUM #1 THIS LEASE ADDENDUM entered into the l day of December, 1993, between the City of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation (the "Lessor ") and The Hertz Corporation (the Lessee "), WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, Lessor and Lessee entered into a Lease Agreement for the business of renting cars dated January 1, 1991 (the "Lease ") and WHEREAS, Lessee desires to renew the Lease for an additional term as provided in the Special Conditions of the Lease; NOW , THEREFORE, as provided by the Special Conditions paragraph of the Lease, the Lessor and Lessee agree as follows: 1. The Lease shall be renewed for an additional term commencing January 1, 1994, and terminating December 31, 1996. 2. Effective January 1, 1994, the annual rental shall be $800 payable in monthly installments of $66.67 in advance on or before the tenth day of each calendar month during said term, at the office of the Lessor's Finance Department, City Hall, Pueblo, Colorado. Said rent is based at the rate of $10 per square foot per year for floor space. 3. Except as amended by this Lease Addendum, all of the remaining terms and conditions of the Lease shall remain in effect, provided however, that no further right to renew shall exist under the Special Conditions of the Lease.
