A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING GOLF CAR FEES AND FEES TO BE
PAID FOR PLAY UPON WALKING STICK MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE AND
RESCINDING ALL OTHER RESOLUTIONS RELATING TO SUCH FEES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO that:
SECTION 1: ANNUAL GREEN FEE PASS
A. The sum of money required to be paid in full in order to permit a person to play
upon the Walking Stick Municipal Golf Course for a period to extend to May 31st of
the year following the date of such payment, otherwise referred to as the Annual
Green Fee Pass, shall be as follows:
ADULT (19 years & over)(week days only) $200.00
(plus half of the daily designated green fee per round)
STUDENT (18 years & under with valid I.D. card) (weekdays only) $175.00
CORPORATE(maximum two individuals per day)
(does not include golf car) $2,400.00
COMBINED COURSE (WALKING STICK & CITY PARK GOLF COURSES):
RESIDENT - WEEKDAYS, SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS
ADUL T (19 years & over) $450.00
FAMILY (Husband & wife) $650.00
FAMILY (Husband, Wife & Children 18 years & under) $725.00
plus $50.00 for each child
B. All Annual Green Fee Passes shall be paid in full before they may be used. No
portion of a Daily Green Fee shall be credited to an Annual Green Fee Pass.
SECTION 2: DAILY GREEN FEE PASS
A. The sum of money required to be paid in order to permit a person to play the
Walking Stick Municipal Golf Course on any given day, otherwise referred to as the
Daily Green Fee Pass, shall be as follows:
18 holes or any portion thereof
Weekdays $12.00
Saturday, Sunday & Holidays $14.00
Twilight Program - before 8:00 a.m. (back 9 holes) $9.00
- after 4:00 p.m. $9.00
Student (18 years & under) (weekdays) $10.00
Senior (55 years & older) (weekdays)Golf Car provided - 2 riders $16.00 each
Golf Car provided - 1 rider $19.00
B. There shall be no waiver for any type of play except as provided in SECTION 2,
Paragraph C.
C. Appropriate winter and /or adverse playing condition fees can be determined by the
Walking Stick Facility Manager upon approval from the Parks and Recreation
Director.
SECTION 3. IMPROVEMENT FEE
A. In addition to the applicable annual green fee and the daily green fee, each
player shall pay the improvement fee $1.00 for each nine holes or portion thereof.
B. There shall be no waiver for any type of play.
SECTION 4. GOLF CAR FEES
A. The sum of money required to be paid in order to rent a City owned golf car to use
while playing the Walking Stick Municipal Golf Course on any given day, otherwise
referred to as the Daily Golf Car Rental Fee, shall be as follows:
18 Holes or any portion thereof:
Two riders
One rider
9 Holes or any portion thereof:
$ 15.00
$10.00
Two riders $8.00
One rider $6.00
B. No privately owned motorized golf cars shall be permitted upon the Walking Stick
Golf Course.
C. Motorized golf cars shall be operated in compliance with all rules and regulations
issued by the Director of Parks and Recreation. Failure to abide by such rules
and regulations may result in the cancellation of golf car rental privileges.
SECTION 5.• DRIVING RANGE FEES
A. The sum of money required to be paid in order to rent a container of driving range
golf balls for use at the Walking Stick Golf Course driving range facility shall
be as follows:
Small container /not less than .... ............................... $2.00
Large container /not less than .... ............................... $3.50
B. There shall be no waiver for any type of play.
SECTION 6. SCHOOL TEAMS
School District Number 60 and 70 high schools and the University of Southern Colorado varsity
golf teams may use the Walking Stick Municipal Golf Course under supervision of the team golf
coach subject to rules, fees, (not less than $200 per year - per team) and managerial policy
adopted by the Department of Parks and Recreation with the approval of the City Manager
provided such use does not interfere with the use of the facilities by the general public.
SECT /ON 7.
All other resolution or parts of resolution in conflict are hereby rescinded.
SECT /ON 8.
This resolution shall become effective upon approval and passage.
