A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION
OF REAL PROPERTY IN CONNECTION WITH A
PUBLIC PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1
The Council finds and determines that the acquisition of
certain real property located within Pueblo County, Colorado
described as:
Lot 5, Kretschmer's Subdivision, of Block 44 of the original
City of Pueblo and all that portion of Lot 7, Block 5, of
what was formerly Central Pueblo, now part of the City of
Pueblo, which lies between the lines of said Lot 5,
Kretschmer's Subdivision if produced to the alley in said
Block 5, Central Pueblo.
and also known as 212 North Union, Pueblo, Colorado, hereinafter
referred to as "the Property" is necessary for the construction of
a municipal and public project, to wit: the Joseph Edwards Senior
Center ( "the Project ").
SECTION 2
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to acquire
fee simple ownership of the Property for the Project, for a sum
not to exceed Eighty -Five Thousand Dollars ($85,000.00) which sum
includes just compensation for the Property, damages and adminis-
trative settlement determined to be fair and reasonable; and in
connection therewith, the City Manager is authorized and directed
to execute all necessary documents and take all required actions
to conclude said acquisition.
SECTION 3.
Funds for such acquisition shall be expended from account
number 04- 1991 - 400 - 000 - 040 -5981.

THIS DEED is made by Thelma J. Hugh as Personal Representative of the Estate of
Dorothy M. Hildebrandt. a/k /a Dorothy M Hilderbrandt , deceased, Grantor, to City of Pueblo.
Colorado, a municipal corporation , Grantee.
WHEREAS, the Last Will and Testament of the above -named decedent was made and executed in
the lifetime of the decedent, and is dated April 3. 1990 , which Will was duly admitted to informal
probate on October 18. 1991 , by the District Court in and for the County of Pueblo , State of
Colorado, Probate No. 91 PR 368 Div A ;
WHEREAS, Grantor was duly appointed Personal Representative of said Estate on October 18.
19 91 and is now qualified and acting in said capacity.
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers conferred upon Grantor by the Colorado Probate Code,
Grantor does hereby sell, convey, assign, transfer and set over unto said Grantee in consideration of
Eighty -Five Thousand Dollars ($85.000) Dollars the following described real property situate in the
County of Pueblo , State of Colorado:
Lot 5, Kretschmer's Subdivision, of Block 44 of the original City of Pueblo
and all that portion of Lot 7, Block 5, of what was formerly Central
Pueblo, now part of the City of Pueblo, which lies between the lines of
said Lot 5, Kretschmer's Subdivision if produced to the alley in said Block
5, Central Pueblo.

With all appurtenances, subject to covenants, easements and restrictions of record, and subject to
general property taxes for the year 19 92
