HomeMy WebLinkAbout6852RESOLUTION NO. 685 2 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE CANVASS OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 5, 1991 WHEREAS, the canvass of the General Municipal Election held on November 5, 1991, has been completed; and the Board of Elections has unanimously passed its Resolution certifying the votes and declaring the results of voting at said General Municipal Election; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that: SFCTTnN 1 _ The Resolution of the Board of Elections certifying the votes and declaring the results of voting at said General Municipal Election, a copy of which is attached hereto, is hereby approved; and the designation of results therein contained are hereby accepted and adopted. Collective Bargaining (a) As to the Proposals submitted to the electors con- cerning Police Officers, Proposal No. 2 (Final Written Pro- posal of the City of Pueblo) received the greatest number of the votes cast and is hereby declared duly passed and adopted. L (b) As to the Proposals submitted to the electors con- cerning Fire Fighters, Proposal No. 2 (Final Written Pro- posal of the City of Pueblo) received the greatest number of the votes cast and is hereby declared duly passed and adopted. (c) As to the Proposals submitted to the electors con- cerning Other Classified Employees, Proposal No. 1 (Final Written Proposal of the City of Pueblo) received the greatest number of the votes cast and is hereby declared duly passed and adopted. SECTION 4 On the Franchise Question Submitted concerning Ordi- nance No. 5705, the greatest number of votes were cast against the Ordinance; therefore, Ordinance No. 5705 did not pass. SECTION 5 The statements from the abstract of votes prepared by the City Clerk are hereby approved; and each member of the Board of Elections shall affix his /her signature thereto, certifying same to be correct and shall endorse and sub- scribe on such statements their certification of determina- tion required by Section 5 -1- 119(1) of the 1971 Code of Ordinances of the City of Pueblo, as amended.
