THE CITY OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)
DRAFT STATEMENT OF OBTECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES FOR 1991.
The City Council of Pueblo, Colorado, proposes the following objectives
for use of CDBG funds in 1991. CDBG funds are intended to provide decent
housing, suitable living environment and economic opportunities,
principally for low and moderate income persons through rehabilitation and
preservation, economic /job development and public facilities improvements.
It is anticipated that approximately $1,200,000 in CDBG funds will be
received by the City in 1991. It is the intent of the City to meet the
principle objective of the program by funding programs that primarily meet
the needs of low and moderate income persons. This will be accomplished
by meeting the spending requirements of the CDBG program. Permanent
involuntary displacement of neighborhood persons or businesses is not
anticipated. Any low and moderate income housing which is demolished or
converted will be replaced in compliance with the CDBG regulations.
