Attached for consideration is a request for support of Mountain View Cemetery in the
amount of $1,700 to sponsor the Wreaths Across America on Saturday, December 19,
2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at Mountain View Cemetery.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
City Council Member Joe Latino is requesting $1,700 to sponsor Wreaths Across
America at Mountain View Cemetery. The ceremony will take place on Saturday,
December 19, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at Mountain View Cemetery at 1315
Acero Ave., Pueblo, CO 81004.
Mountain View Cemetery — Pueblo is an LLC whose goal this year is to place at least
1000 wreaths on veterans' graves this year. Sponsorship funds will be used to directly
support supplying 100 Wreaths at $17 each.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Payment of funds in the amount of $1,700 would be paid from the Council
Contingencies Account in the 2026 General Fund Budget to Mountain View Cemetery
— Pueblo.
