A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A
REVOCABLE PERMIT (REV -26-24) TO THE YMCA OF PUEBLO
FOR THE USE OF THE OUTER LANES OF SPAULDING
AVENUE (BOTH DIRECTIONS) BETWEEN THE NORTH
ENTRANCE OF THE YMCA AND PUEBLO BOULEVARD (BOTH
DIRECTIONS) BETWEEN SPAULDING AVENUE AND ITS
NORTH-EASTERN TERMINUS FOR THE 5K RUN/WALK
CORPORATE CUP EVENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The attached Revocable Permit (REV -26-24) is authorized to be issued to the YMCA of
Pueblo for the use of the outer lanes of Spaulding Avenue (both directions) between the north
entrance of the YMCA and Pueblo Boulevard (both directions) between Spaulding Avenue and
its north-eastern terminus for the 5K run/walk Corporate Cup event on September 12, 2026,
from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
SECTION 2.
The use of the public right-of-way granted hereby is subject to all limitations, terms, and
conditions set forth in the attached Revocable Permit (REV -26-24).
SECTION 3.
The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the
intent of this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 4.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
Attached is a draft Revocable Permit (REV -26-24) to the YMCA of Pueblo for the use of
Spaulding Avenue to host their Corporate Cup 5K Run/Walk event.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The YMCA of Pueblo has submitted a Revocable Permit application (REV -26-24) for
the use of the outer lanes of Spaulding Avenue (both directions) between the north
entrance of the YMCA and Pueblo Boulevard (both directions) between Spaulding
Avenue and its north-eastern terminus for the 5K run/walk Corporate Cup event on
September 12, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
None.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Revocable Permit Review Committee recommends approval.

STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
Failure to approve this Resolution will prevent the applicant from utilizing the right-of-
way to host its event.
