RESOLUTION NO. 16380
A RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 1
IN THE AMOUNT OF $74,072.83 TO COLORADO FRONT
RANGE ROOFING., FOR PROJECT NO. 25-112 (WWAN04)
FY2026 REPLACEMENT OF VARIOUS ROOFS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO EXECUTE
SAME
WHEREAS, a Construction Contract was awarded to Colorado Front Range Roofing
under Contract Number 25-112; and
WHEREAS, a contract amendment is requested for the purpose of replacing the
Engineering Building roof; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
Contract Amendment No. 1 to the Construction Contract for Project No. 25-112 (WWAN04)
2026 Replacement of Various Roofs at the James R. Dilorio Water Reclamation Facility, in the
amount of $74,072.83, a copy of which is attached hereto, having been approved as to form by
the City Attorney, is hereby approved, and City Council authorizes the additional work
contemplated by the Amendment.
SFCTION 2_
The Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment on behalf of the City
of Pueblo, a Colorado Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix the seal of the City
thereto and attest same.
SECTION 3.
Funds in the amount of $74,072.83 Project 25-112 shall be from Sewer User Fund WWAN04 —
WRF Facility Rehab.
SECTION 4.
The officers and staff of the City of Pueblo are authorized to perform any and all acts
consistent with this Resolution and the Amendment to implement the policies and procedures
described herein.

SECTION 5.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
This Resolution approves Contract Amendment No. 1 in the amount $74,072.83 to
Colorado Front Range Roofing., for Project No. 25-112 (WWAN04) FY2026
Replacement of Various Roofs.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Resolution 16271, dated March 9, 2026, awarded a construction contract to Colorado
Front Range Roofing for Project No. 25-112 (WWAN04), FY2026 Replacement of
Various Roofs at the James R. Dilorio Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). The project
will replace the damaged roofs at five buildings around the plant.
BACKGROUND:
The original project, awarded to Colorado Front Range Roofing, consisted of
rehabilitating and replacing the roofing. The WRF has five buildings, which are the
Administration, Shop, Secondary Clarifier, Non -Potable Water, and the Dissolved Air
Filtration Building that need to have their roofs replaced. In this project the contractor
will pull and replace all layers of roofing and bring the roof insulation up to code. The
contractor will have to remove all air conditioner units and build up the curbs to allow for
the proper spacing from the roof to the unit. The contractor will have to remove and
replace all the skylights that are damaged and raise them up to accommodate the new
roof.
This Resolution approves an amendment to increase the contract award amount
awarded to Colorado Front Range Roofing. The increase is to install a new roof on the
Engineering Building at James R. Dilorio plant. The roof has multiple patches and has

been leaking.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Funding the amount of $74,072.83 will be paid from Sewer User Fund WWAN04- WRF
Facility Rehab .

ALTERNATIVES:
Denial of this Resolution would cancel the additional work necessary to complete the
project.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
