RESOLUTION NO. 16369
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE
MAYOR OF HEATHER BARTON TO SERVE A FIVE-YEAR
TERM EXPIRING JULY 31, 2031, ON THE PUEBLO
CONSERVANCY DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Mayor Heather Graham has requested confirmation by the City Council of
her appointment of Heather Barton to the Pueblo Conservancy District; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The appointment by the Mayor of Heather Barton to the Pueblo Conservancy District to
serve a five-year term expiring July 31, 2031 shall be and is hereby confirmed by the City
Council.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with this Resolution to implement the appointments described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City
Council.

This Resolution confirms the appointment by the Mayor of Heather Barton to serve a
five-year term expiring July 31, 2031 on the Pueblo Conservancy District.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
The Mayor has made appointments to boards and commissions selecting individuals to
serve terms which expire during a particular calendar year and presented them to
Council for approval.
BACKGROUND:
Due to the regular term expiration of Marisa Lopez, there is one appointment available
to serve a five-year term expiring July 31, 2031.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee, and members serve without compensation from the City
of Pueblo.
