AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER TWO OF TITLE
III OF THE 1971 CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING
TO THE DUTIES AND POWERS OF FIREMEN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PUEBLO,
COLOR.ADO, that:

Section 1 of Chapter 2 of Title III of the 1971 Code
of Ordinance of the City of Pueblo is hereby amended to read
as follows:
3-2-1: Firemen - Duties and Powers. The members of
the Fire Department shall perform all the duties of
the Fire Department under the direction and control
of the Fire Chief, the assistant chiefs and the captains
of their respective companies. They shall wear such
uniforms or insignia of office as may be prescribed
by the regulations of the Department.
Firemen employed bX the City shall be vested with the
authorit of a olice officer and shall be charged with
to duty to enforce the provisions of this Cha ter and
Ctle VII, including the authorit to issue
summons and complaint for violations thereof.
The particular duties of all ranks and members of the
Fire Department shall be prescribed by the Fire Chief.
Members of the Fire Department are required to devote
their entire attention to the service of the City.
SECTION II.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately on
final passage and approval.
