A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE CANVASS
OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER
8, 1977 MADE BY THE BOARD OF ELECTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 5-1-115 of the 1971 Code of
Ordinances of the City of Pueblo, as amended, the Board of Election
met on November 11, 1977, as a canvassing board to canvass the results
of said election, and
WHEREAS, said Board of Election has completed its canvass
and unanimously passed its resolution certifying the votes and declaring
the results of voting at said municipal election; now, therefore,
that:
SECTION 1.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PUEBLO,
The Resolution of the Board of Election unanimously passed
on November 11, 1977 certifying the votes and declaring the results of
voting at said municipal election, a copy of which is attached hereto,
is hereby approved and the designations of results therein contained
are hereby accepted and adopted.
SECTION 2.

A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE VOTES AND DECLARING
THE RESULTS OF VOTING AT THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD ON 14OVEM13ER 8, 1977
WHEREAS, the Board of Election met on November 11, 1977,
as the canvassing board of the general municipal election held in
the City of Pueblo, Colorado on November 8, 1977, pursuant to
Section 5-1-1.15 of the 1971 Code of Ordinances of the City of Pueblo,
as amended, and
WHEREAS, the. Board of Election proceeded to canvass the
votes cast at said general municipal election and to make an abstract
thereof,
SECTION 1.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ELECTION, that:

SECTION 3.
Charter Amendment No. 1 and Charter Amendment No. 3 having
received a majority of votes cast thereon are declared duly passed.
Charter Amendment No. 2 having received less than a majority of votes
cast thereon, did not pass. Ordinance Amendment -Repealing Occupation
Tax, having received less than a majority of .votes cast thereon, did
not pass.
SECTION 4.
The statements front the abstract of votes prepared by the
City Clerk are hereby approved and each member of the Board of Election

shall affix his or her signature thereto certifying same to be correct
and shall endorse and subscribe on such statements their certification
of determination required by Section 5-1-119(1) of the 1971 Code of
Ordinances of the City of Pueblo as amended.
