AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6-5-16 OF CHAPTER 5,
OF TITLE VI OF THE PUEBLO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO THE FY 2026 CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN BY
ESTABLISHING THE PAY SCALE FOR HOUSING
REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM COORDINATOR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
Section 6-5-16(A) of Chapter 5, of Title VI, of the Pueblo Municipal Code referencing the
Fiscal Year 2026 pay scale for the classification of Housing Redevelopment Program
Coordinator.
6-5-16. Schedule, classification, work week and monthly salary.
The following shall constitute:
A. The monthly pay range for the classification of Housing Redevelopment Program
Coordinator for 2026.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts
consistent with the intent of this Ordinance to effectuate the transactions described therein.
SECTION 3.
This Ordinance shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City
Council.
Action by City Council:
Introduced and initial adoption of Ordinance by City Council on May 26, 2026.
Final adoption of Ordinance by City Council on June 8, 2026.

SUMMARY:
Attached for consideration is an amended Pay Plan Ordinance that reflects the addition
of the pay rate and salary schedule for the classification of Housing Redevelopment
Program Coordinator.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
On December 8, 2026, City Council approved Ordinance No.11875, which established
the Fiscal Year 2026 Classification and Pay Plan.
BACKGROUND:
This new position in the Housing and Citizen Services Department will be classified as
a Class B position and will be subject to all hiring procedures under Civil Services rules
and regulations.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
None.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
None.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
The suggested change establishes the 2026 salary range for the classification of
Housing Redevelopment Program Coordinator. If this ordinance is not approved, and
assuming the establishment of the position is approved, no salary range will be
associated with the classification and the position cannot be filled.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Ordinance.
