SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE REAPPOINTMENT BY THE
MAYOR OF PHYLLIS SANCHEZ TO SERVE A FIVE-YEAR TERM
EXPIRING JULY 1, 2031, ON THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF PUEBLO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
SUMMARY:
This Resolution confirms the reappointment by the Mayor of Phyllis Sanchez to serve a
five-year term expiring July 1, 2031, on the Housing Authority of the City of Pueblo
Board of Directors.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
The Mayor has made appointments to boards and commissions selecting individuals to
serve terms which expire during a particular calendar year and presented them to
Council for approval.
BACKGROUND:
Due to the term expiration of Phyllis Sanchez, there is one position available to serve a
five-year term on this board. Ms. Sanchez is eligible to serve another term.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

ALTERNATIVES:
Remove from the agenda and re-advertise for additional applications.

A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE REAPPOINTMENT BY THE
MAYOR OF PHYLLIS SANCHEZ TO SERVE A FIVE-YEAR
TERM EXPIRING JULY 1, 2031, ON THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PUEBLO BOARD OF
DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Mayor Heather Graham has requested confirmation by the City Council of her
reappointment of Phyllis Sanchez to the Housing Authority of the City of Pueblo Board of
Directors; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The appointment by the Mayor of Phyllis Sanchez to the Housing Authority of the City of
Pueblo Board of Directors to serve a five-year term expiring July 1, 2031, shall be and is hereby
confirmed by the City Council.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with this Resolution to implement the appointments described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City
Council.
