A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE JOINT APPOINTMENT OF MARTINE
P ORR, OLIVIA ST. ONGE, PAULA DAHL, HEATHER DEWEY, ALVA
CLAUSSEN, BARBARA CLEMENTI, SANDRA SHERRER, AND DENNIS
CHAPPELL TO THE COMMUNITY SERVICES ADVISORY
COMMISSION (CSAC)
SUMMARY:
This resolution ratifies the joint City -County appointment of members to serve on the
Community Services Advisory Commission (CSAC).
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Joint City -County appointments to the Community Services Advisory Commission
(CSAC) are made on an annual basis selecting individuals to serve expiring or vacant
terms. Resolutions to ratify the joint appointments are passed by each entity.
BACKGROUND:
There are five (5) vacancies and (3) terms ending on the Community Services Advisory
Commission (CSAC) for a total of (8) positions available for the joint City -County
appointment of members to complete four-year terms with various expiration dates. The
following terms are available: 4 terms ending 2030; 3 terms ending 2028; 1 term ending
2027.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

ALTERNATIVES:
City Council in agreement with the County Commissioners could remove the Resolution
from the Agenda and reevaluate the applications or request that the recruitment process
be extended in order to receive additional applications for consideration.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.

A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE JOINT APPOINTMENT OF
MARTINE P ORR, OLIVIA ST. ONGE, PAULA DAHL, HEATHER
DEWEY, ALVA CLAUSSEN, BARBARA CLEMENTI, SANDRA
SHERRER, AND DENNIS CHAPPELL TO THE COMMUNITY
SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION (CSAC)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have duly convened and appointed Martine
P Orr, Olivia St. Onge, Paula Dahl, Heather Dewey, Alva Claussen, Barbara Clementi, Sandra
Sherrer, and Dennis Chappell to the Community Services Advisory Commission (CSAC) to
complete four-year terms, it is now the desire of the Pueblo City Council to ratify said appointment;
and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The joint appointment of Martine Orr to the Community Services Advisory Commission
(CSAC) to complete a four-year term expiring April 30, 2027 shall be and hereby is ratified.
SFCTION 2_
The joint appointment of Olivia St. Onge, Paula Dahl, and Heather Dewey to the
Community Services Advisory Commission (CSAC) to complete a four-year term expiring April
30, 2028 shall be and hereby is ratified.
SFCTION 3_
The joint appointment of Barbara Clementi to the Community Services Advisory
Commission (CSAC) to serve a four-year term expiring April 30, 2030 shall be and hereby is
ratified.
SECTION 4.
The joint reappointment of Alva Claussen, Sandra Sherrer, and Dennis Chappell to the
Community Services Advisory Commission (CSAC) to serve a four-year term expiring April 30,
2030 shall be and hereby is ratified.
SECTION 5.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with
this Resolution to implement the appointment described herein.
SECTION 6.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.
