SUMMARY:
Attached for consideration is a request for support of Pueblo Conservancy District in the
amount of $1,000 to sponsor their Levee Artists Meet & Greet at 4:30 PM at Pillars Park -
Charles Lee Bridge, on May 13, 2026.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
City Council Member Dianne Danti is requesting $1,000 to sponsor Pueblo Conservancy
District's Levee Artists Meet & Greet. The fundraiser will take place on May 13, 2023, at
4:30 PM at Pillars Park- Charles Lee Bridge.
The Pueblo Conservancy District is hosting a meet and greet with the mural artists to
raise funds to support the cost of painting supplies and safety equipment. The event will
held on the banks of the Arkansas River with a view of many of the murals across the
water. This is a casual event with food, drink, music and a chance to talk to the artists.
Event tickets are $35. This sponsorship tier includes tickets to the event, mention in the
flier, on the website, and on social media.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Payment of funds in the amount of $1,000 would be paid from the Council Contingencies
Account in the 2026 General Fund Budget to Pueblo Conservancy District.

Not applicable.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
Not applicable.
ALTERNATIVES:
City Council could choose not to authorize funding for this purpose.
RECOMMENDATION:
This Resolution is at the request of Council Member Dianne Danti.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FROM THE
COUNCIL CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2026 GENERAL
FUND BUDGET TO PUEBLO CONSERVANCY DISTRICT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1,000 TO SPONSOR LEVEE ARTISTS- A MEET &

ON MAY 13, 2026
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
Payment in the amount of $1,000 from the Council Contingencies Account in the 2026
General Fund Budget is authorized to be paid to Pueblo Conservancy District to sponsor the 2026
Levee Artists- a Meet & Greet at 4:30 PM at Pillars Park- Charles Lee Bridge, on May 13, 2026.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with
the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective upon passage and approval..
