TRANSFER OF BUDGETED AND APPROPRIATED FUNDS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $10,000 FROM PROJECT NO. HUAN01 STREET
RESURFACING TO PROJECT NO. HU2604 ASPHALT IMP
NORTHERN & VASSAR
SUMMARY:
This Resolution establishes project account HU2604 Asphalt Imp Northern & Vassar
and approves the transfer of previously budgeted and appropriated funds in the amount
of $10,000.00 from Project No. HUAN01 Street Resurfacing to Project No. HU2604
Asphalt Imp Northern & Vassar
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
There has been an increase in fatal crashes at the intersection of Northern and Vassar
in recent years. At least one car making a left turn movement at this intersection has
been involved in these accidents. This improvement project will place traffic delineators
along northbound Northern Avenue to eliminate the left turn onto Vassar Avenue and on
Vassar to eliminate the left turn movement onto Northern Avenue.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Transferring these funds as described herein will ensure there are appropriate funds
available in Project No. HU2604 Asphalt Imp Northern & Vassar.

Not applicable to this resolution.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
Not applicable to this resolution.
ALTERNATIVES:
If this Resolution is not approved by the City Council, the required funds will not be
allocated to Project No. HU2604 Asphalt Imp Northern & Vassar and the project
cannot be completed.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the resolution.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
Project account HU2604 Asphalt Imp Northern & Vassar is hereby established.
SECTION 2.
The transfer of previously budgeted and appropriated funds in the amount of $10,000.00 from
Project No. HUAN01 Street Resurfacing to Project No. HU2604 Asphalt Imp Northern & Vassar is
hereby approved.
SECTION 3.
The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with this
Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 4.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.
