PROJECT NO. 25-077, DRONE PAD AND FENCING - FIRE STATION
NOS. 4 AND 8, AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO

SUMMARY:
This Resolution approves Contract Amendment No. 1 in the amount of $18,705.00 to
Cedar Ridge Landscape, Inc., for Project No. 25-077 Drone Pad and Fencing - Fire
Station Nos. 4 and 8.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Resolution 16126, dated September 22, 2025, awarded a Construction Contract, in the
amount of $33,880.00, to Cedar Ridge Landscape, Inc., and set forth $5,082.00 for
contingencies and additional work, for Project No. 25-077 Drone Pad and Fencing - Fire
Station Nos. 4 and 8
BACKGROUND:
The original project, awarded to Cedar Ridge Landscape, Inc., consisted of the
construction of a concrete pad/foundation, an ornamental fence with gate, and other
incidental items. Contract Amendment No. 1 consists of electrical engineering, permit
and review fees, additional installation of electric service and additional installation of
conduit. The cost of the additional work exceeds the threshold for administrative approval
of a change order and a contract amendment will be required to award and complete the
additional work.
This Resolution approves an amendment to increase the contract award amount
previously awarded to Cedar Ridge Landscape, Inc.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Funding in the amount of $18,705.00 will be paid from Project Account PS2410, Real
Time Crime Center.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
None.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
Denial of this Resolution would cancel the additional work necessary to complete the
project.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
