SUBJECT: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PUEBLO, A COLORADO
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION AND THE PUEBLO DEPARTMENT OF
PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT RELATING TO ART
INSTALLATIONS ON CITY OF PUEBLO BUS STOPS AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME
SUMMARY:
This Ordinance approves an MOU with the Pueblo Department of Public Health and
Environment for Bus Stop Art Installation
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None
BACKGROUND:
The Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment (PDPHE) secured funds
transit and public works departments, is launching an initiative to beautify four bus stops
near youth-friendly, prosocial spaces in different neighborhoods.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This agreement will have no financial effects on the City.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Pueblo Transit Board recommends approval.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
Not applicable.
ALTERNATIVES:
Should this Ordinance not pass Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment
would not be able to execute this project and spend there grant funding as prescribed.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Ordinance.

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PUEBLO, A
COLORADO MUNICIPAL CORPORATION AND THE PUEBLO
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT
RELATING TO ART INSTALLATIONS ON CITY OF PUEBLO BUS
STOPS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
Municipal Corporation, and Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment, attached
hereto, having been approved as to form by the City Attorney, is hereby approved
SECTION 2.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the City
and the City Clerk is authorized to affix the seal of the City thereto and attest same
SECTION 3.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with
this Ordinance and the attached Agreement to implement the policies and procedures described
therein
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City
Council

Final adoption of Ordinance by City Council on January 12, 2026.
