SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE JOINT APPOINTMENT OF JEFF
CHOSTNER TO THE FOUNTAIN CREEK WATERSHED FLOOD
CONTROL & GREENWAY DISTRICT GOVERNING BOARD
SUMMARY:
This resolution ratifies the joint City-County appointment of members to serve on the
Fountain Creek Watershed Flood Control & Greenway District Governing Board.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Joint City-County appointments to the Fountain Creek Watershed Flood Control &
Greenway District Governing Board are made on an annual basis selecting individuals
to serve expiring or vacant terms. Resolutions to ratify the joint appointments are passed
by each entity.
BACKGROUND:
There is one (1) upcoming vacancy on the Fountain Creek Watershed Flood Control &
Greenway District Governing Board for a joint City-County appointment of a member to
serve a two-year term as a citizen-at-
2028. One application was received from Jeff Chostner.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer board and members serve without compensation.

STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
N/A
ALTERNATIVES:
City Council in agreement with the County Commissioners could remove the Resolution
from the Agenda, and reevaluation the applications or request that the recruitment
process be extended in order to receive additional applications for consideration.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.

RESOLUTION NO. 16223
A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE JOINT APPOINTMENT OF
JEFF CHOSTNER TO THE FOUNTAIN CREEK WATERSHED
FLOOD CONTROL & GREENWAY DISTRICT GOVERNING
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have duly convened and selected Jeff
Chostner to serve a two-year term as a citizen-at-large on the Fountain Creek Watershed Flood
Control & Greenway District Governing Board expiring on January 31, 2028; it is now the desire
of the Pueblo City Council to ratify said appointment; and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The joint appointment of Jeff Chostner to the Fountain Creek Watershed Flood Control &
Greenway District Governing Board to serve a two-year term expiring January 31, 2028, shall be
and hereby is ratified.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with
this Resolution to implement the appointment described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.
