A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A PUBLIC PLACE FOR THE
POSTING OF NOTICE OF MEETINGS FOR ALL BOARDS,
COMMISSIONS, AND COMMITTEES OF THE CITY OF PUEBLO
FOR THE YEAR 2026
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 24-6-402(2)(c)(I), C.R.S., any meetings at which the
adoption of a proposed policy, position, resolution, rule, regulation or formal action occurs, or at
which a majority or quorum of the body is in attendance, or is expected to be in attendance, shall
be held only after full and timely notice is given to the public; and
WHEREAS, the public place for posting such notice shall be designated annually at the
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The bulletin board located outside the Office of the City Clerk on the first floor of City Hall,
#1 City Hall Place, Pueblo, Colorado is hereby designated as the official bulletin board for the
posting of meetings for all Boards, Commissions, and Committees of the City of Pueblo. The
posting shall include specific agenda information when possible.
SECTION 2.
The notice of meetings shall be posted no less than twenty-four hours prior to the holding
of the meeting.
SECTION 3.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with
the intent of this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 4.
This Resolution shall become effective upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
This Resolution designates the public place for the posting of notices of meetings for all
Boards, Commissions, and Committees appointed by the City of Pueblo for the year
2026.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
The public place for posting notices for such public meetings is designated annually at
the first City Council meeting of each calendar year.
BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to 24-6-402(2)(c) C.R.S., any meetings at which the adoption of a proposed
policy, position, resolution, rule, regulation or formal action occurs, or at which a majority
or quorum of the body is in attendance, or is expected to be in attendance, shall be held
only after full and timely notice is given to the public.
Traditionally City Hall has been the designated public place for the posting of notices of
meetings, specifically the bulletin board on the first floor of City Hall under the supervision
of the City Clerk.
