SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE MAYOR
OF RICK RINGLER AND STACEY QUEEN TO SERVE A THREE-YEAR
TERM EXPIRING DECEMBER 31, 2028, AND BRANDON MARTINEZ AS
A YOUTH MEMBER TO SERVE A ONE-YEAR TERM EXPIRING
DECEMBER 31, 2026, ON THE HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION
SUMMARY:
This Resolution confirms the appointment by the Mayor of Rick Ringler and Stacey
Queen to serve a three-year term expiring December 31, 2028, and Brandon Martinez
to serve a one-year term as a Youth Member expiring December 31, 2026 on the Human
Relations Commission.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
The Mayor has made appointments to boards and commissions selecting individuals to
serve terms which expire during a particular calendar year and presented them to
Council for approval.
BACKGROUND:
There are five positions with term expirations of 12/31/2025. Four are for regular
members and one is for the youth member. All candidates were interviewed by the
Mayor.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

Remove from the agenda and re-advertise for additional applications.

A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE
MAYOR OF RICK RINGLER AND STACEY QUEEN TO SERVE A
THREE-YEAR TERM EXPIRING DECEMBER 31, 2028, AND
BRANDON MARTINEZ AS A YOUTH MEMBER TO SERVE A
ONE-YEAR TERM EXPIRING DECEMBER 31, 2026, ON THE
HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Mayor Heather Graham has requested confirmation by the City Council of
her appointment of Rick Ringler and Stacey Queen to serve a three-year term expiring December
31, 2028, and Brandon Martinez to serve a one-year term as a Youth Member expiring December
31, 2026 on the Human Relations Commission; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The appointment by the Mayor of Rick Ringler and Stacey Queen to serve a three-year
term expiring December 31, 2028 on the Human Relations Commission shall be and is hereby
confirmed by the City Council.
SECTION 2.
The appointment by the Mayor of Brandon Martinez to serve a one-year term expiring
December 31, 2026 on the Human Relations Commission as a youth member shall be and is
hereby confirmed by the City Council.
SECTION 3.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with
this Resolution to implement the appointments described herein.
SECTION 4.
This Resolution shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City
Council.
