SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PROJECT NO. AP2502 - HANGAR
DOOR REPLACEMENT 522 SKYWAY, TRANSFERRING FUNDS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $197,582.00 FROM PROJECT NO. CI2426 - CITY
COUNCIL AND DEPARTMENT RELOCATION PROJECT, AND
BUDGETING AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS INTO PROJECT NO.
AP2502 HANGAR DOOR REPLACEMENT 522 SKYWAY
SUMMARY:
A Resolution establishing Project No. AP2502 - Hangar Door Replacement 522 Skyway
and transferring, budgeting, and appropriating funds in the amount of $197,582 from
Project No. CI2426 - City Council and Department Relocation Project.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Ordinance No. 9830, passed and approved by City Council previously budgeted and
appropriated funds for the purchase of the Wells Fargo Building.
Resolution No. 15543, passed by City Council transferred funds to Project No. CI2426 -
City Council and Department Relocation Project.
BACKGROUND:
The hangar door at 522 Skyway St., which houses Southern Colorado Aviation
Professional, a tenant of the Pueblo Memorial Airport, is no longer operable and needs
to be replaced. This building is owned by the City of Pueblo and is responsible for the
replacement.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
The estimated project cost to replace the hangar door is $179,620. Funds in the amount
of $197,582 (including 10% contingency) will be transferred from Project CI2426,
budgeted and appropriated to Project AP2502 - Hangar Door Replacement 522 Skyway.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Not applicable to this Ordinance.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
Not applicable to this Ordinance.
ALTERNATIVES:
If this Resolution is not approved, the hangar door will not be replaced and hangar at
522 Skyway will not be able to be occupied by current tenant or future tenants.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the Resolution

TRANSFERRING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $197,582.00
FROM PROJECT NO. CI2426 - CITY COUNCIL AND
DEPARTMENT RELOCATION PROJECT, AND BUDGETING
AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS INTO PROJECT NO.
AP2502 HANGAR DOOR REPLACEMENT 522 SKYWAY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
Project No. AP2502 - Hangar Door Replacement 522 Skyway is hereby established.
SECTION 2.
The Director of Finance is directed to transfer, budget, and appropriate funds in the
amount of $197,582.00 from Project No. CI2426 - City Council and Department Relocation to
Project No. AP2502 - Hangar Door Replacement 522 Skyway.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.
