SUMMARY:
This Resolution establishes Project No. CI2510 Convergys Site Redevelopment,
transferring $85,310.52 from Project PL0804 - Santa Fe & 1st Street (City Center)
Improvement Project; $188,251.67 from Project CI1901 - Demolition/Abatement of
Dangerous Buildings, $149,324.52 from Project CI1809 - 2018 Abatement/Demo of
Buildings; $71,914.23 from Project CI1605 - 2016 Abatement and Demolition of
Dangerous Buildings; and $8,726.00 from Project CIAN23 - Demolition of Unsafe
Structures into Project No. CI2510, and appropriating a total of $600,000.00 into Project
No. CI2510 - Convergys Site Redevelopment.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
This Resolution consolidates available capital funds into a new project account to
facilitate redevelopment of the former Convergys property to create a new affordable
housing development on the site. Development agreements and other relevant
documents related to the project will be brought forward to Council under separate
ordinance/resolution in the future.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Approval of this Resolution will result in funds in the amount of $600,000 being budgeted
and appropriated into a new project account designated as PL2510 - Convergys Site
Redevelopment. Funds will be consolidated from the project accounts listed below:
PL0804 - Santa Fe & 1st Street (City Center) Improvements - $85,310.52
CI1901 - Abatement/Demolition of Buildings - $188,251.67
CI1809 - 2018 Abatement of Dangerous Buildings - $149,324.52
CI1605 - 2016 Abatement of Dangerous Buildings - $71,914.23
CIAN23 - Demolition of Dangerous Buildings - $105,199.06

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
Project No. CI2510 - Convergys Site Redevelopment is hereby established.
SECTION 2.
The Director of Finance is directed to transfer, budget, and appropriate funds in the
amount of $900,000.00 by transferring $396,150.00 from Project CI2113 - American Rescue Plan
Act; $85,310.00 from Project PL0804 - Santa Fe & 1st Street (City Center) Improvement Project;
$188,251.00 from Project CI1901 - Demolition/Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, $149,324.00
from Project CI1809 - 2018 Abatement/Demo of Buildings; $72,239.00 from Project CI1605 - 2016
Abatement and Demolition of Dangerous Buildings; and $8,726.00 from Project CIAN23 -
Demolition of Unsafe Structures into Project No. CI2510, and budgeting and appropriating a total
of $900,000.00 into Project No. CI2510 - Convergys Site Redevelopment.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective upon passage and approval.
