SUBJECT: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING, AND ACCEPTING, A MULTIMODAL
TRANSPORTATION AND MITIGATION OPTION FUNDS GRANT
AWARD, AND APPLICABLE CONDITIONS PERTAINING THERETO,
BETWEEN THE CITY OF PUEBLO, A COLORADO MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION, THE PUEBLO AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS,
AND COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
ESTABLISHING PROJECT NO. BC2501, BUDGETING AND
APPROPRIATING $90,000.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAME
SUMMARY:
Attached is a Grant Award between the City of Pueblo, A Colorado Municipal Corporation and
Colorado Department of Transportation for $90,000.00.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None
BACKGROUND:
This is a FY25 Multimodal Transportation and Mitigation Options Funds Grant for $90,000.00
allocation. The grant provided is 100%, with a 0% match. This grant utilizes State Multimodal
funding. The grant scope of work includes the following Project:

$90,000.00 Total Grant
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
The anticipated total project cost is $90,000.00. The Federal share is 100% with no City match
requirement.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Pueblo Transit Board recommends approval.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
Not applicable.
ALTERNATIVES:
Should this Ordinance not pass, the City of Pueblo would not be able to provide the My Ride
Application trip planning software for transit users.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Ordinance.

PERTAINING THERETO, BETWEEN THE CITY OF PUEBLO, A
COLORADO MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, THE PUEBLO AREA
COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS, AND COLORADO
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ESTABLISHING
PROJECT NO. BC2501, BUDGETING AND APPROPRIATING
$90,000.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The Awarding of 2025 Multimodal Transportation and Mitigation Option Funds Grant to
the City of Pueblo, Pueblo Transit, a true copy of which is attached hereto, is hereby approved
and accepted in accordance with its terms and conditions
SECTION 2.
The Mayor of the City is hereby authorized to execute the Grant Award acceptance in the
name of and on behalf of the City, and the Mayor is authorized to execute any and all other
certifications, assurances and other documents associated therewith. To the extent the Mayor
has executed Grant Award or other documents associated therewith, City Council hereby ratifies
such acceptance or actions
SECTION 3.
Project Number BC2501 is hereby established, and the amount of $90,000.00 is budgeted
and appropriated, therefore
SECTION 4.
The officers and staff of the City are directed and authorized to perform any and all acts
consistent with the intent of this Ordinance and the attached Award to effectuate the policies and
procedures described herein
SECTION 5.
This Ordinance shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City
Council
