AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE TERRITORY COMMONLY
KNOWN AND DESCRIBED AS LYING NORTH OF THE
PRESENT CITY LIMITS AND ON BOTH SIDES OF
OVERTON ROAD
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended that
the territory described in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the City of Pueblo;
and
WHEREAS, City Council has, acting in accordance with the requirements
of the Municipal Annexation Act of 1965, and after public hearing, found the
area in question to be eligible for annexation;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO,'COLORADO,
that:
SECTION _16
The following described territory situated in Pueblo County, Colorado
be acid the same hereby is annexed to the City of Pueblo, Coloradoe a Municipal.
Corporation, and the official map of the City shall be amended to show such
annexations.
The South one-half of Section 7, Township 20 South,
Range 64 West of the 6th P.M.; the East one-half of
the East one-half of the Southeast one -quarter of
Section 12, Township 20 South, Range 65 West of the
6th P.M., containing 360 acres, more or less.
SECTION_2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final passage and
approval, and the liability for general ad valorem taxes shall attach against
the property described in Section 1 hereof on January 1, 1975.

I, Lucy J. Costa, City Clerk of the City of Pueblo, Colorado,
do hereby certify that the above ordinance was presented the
First Time at a meeting of the Council of the City of Pueblo,
held on September 23, 1974 and Notice of Hearing ordered pub-
lished; and that it was also ordered published in Full in the
Pueblo Chieftain, a newspaper of general circulation published
in the city of Pueblo. It was presented the Second and Final
Time on October 14, 1974.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
the Seal of the City of Pueblo, Colorado, this 30th day of
October, 1974.
