SUBJECT: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING A DEED OF
DEDICATION FROM NO KA OI PROPERTIES, LLC FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF BANDERA PARKWAY
AND SHORT STREET, PUEBLO, COLORADO
SUMMARY:
This Ordinance codifies City Council's approval and acceptance of a Deed of Dedication
for land located on the northeast corner of Bandera Parkway and Short Street in Pueblo.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
In conjunction with a project to widen the Bandera Parkway roadway between Liezel
Street and Aramis Court, the City requires additional right-of-way to accommodate the
new road width and all associated improvements. The property owner, No Ka Oi
Properties, LLC, has agreed in principle to the language in the attached Deed of
Dedication and will, upon approval of this Ordinance by City Council, execute the deed
to convey ownership of the parcel to the City for the purpose of right-of-way dedication.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
None.

Not applicable to this Ordinance.

Not applicable to this Ordinance.
ALTERNATIVES:
Failure to approve this Ordinance will preclude the City from accepting the deed.

ORDINANCE NO.11024
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING A DEED OF
DEDICATION FROM NO KA OI PROPERTIES, LLC FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF
BANDERA PARKWAY AND SHORT STREET, PUEBLO,
COLORADO
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The Deed of Dedication ("Deed") conveying a parcel of land to the City of Pueblo, a copy
of which is attached hereto, having been approved as to form by the City Attorney, is hereby
approved and accepted.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk is directed to cause said Deed to be recorded in the office of the Pueblo
County Clerk and Recorder forthwith.
SECTION 3.
The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with this
Ordinance to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall become effective upon the date of final action by the Mayor and City
Council.
