TO THE ROSELAWN COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,700 TO
SPONSOR WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA STARTING AT 12:00 PM AT
ROSELAWN CEMETERY ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13TH, 2025
SUMMARY:
Attached for consideration is a request for support of The Roselawn Company in the
amount of $1,700 to sponsor Wreaths Across America starting at 12:00 PM at
Roselawn Cemetery on Friday, December 13th, 2025.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Council supported this ceremony in 2022 for 3,000.
BACKGROUND:
City Council Member Regina Maestri is requesting $1,700 to sponsor The Roselawn
Company Wreaths Across America. Wreaths Across America will take place on
Saturday, December 13th, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Roselawn Cemetery.
and teach the next generation about the value of freedom. In 2024, Wreaths Across
4,224 locations globally.
In 2024, there were more than 1,070 wreaths placed at Roselawn, with still too many
4,000
wreaths to ensure no veteran is forgotten.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Payment of funds in the amount of $1,700 would be paid from the Council
Contingencies Account in the 2025 General Fund Budget to The Roselawn Company.

City Council could choose not to authorize funding for this purpose.
RECOMMENDATION:
This Resolution is at the request of Council Member Regina Maestri.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FROM THE
COUNCIL CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2025 GENERAL
FUND BUDGET TO THE ROSELAWN COMPANY IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1,700 TO SPONSOR WREATHS ACROSS

ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13TH, 2025
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
Payment in the amount of $1,700 from the Council Contingencies Account in the 2025
General Fund Budget is authorized to be paid to The Roselawn Company to sponsor Wreaths
Across America from 12:00 PM at Roselawn Cemetery on Friday, December 13th, 2025
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective upon passage and approval.
