SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPENSATION WITH RESPECT TO A
LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH HOFFMANN, PARKER,
WILSON, & CARBERRY, P.C.
SUMMARY:
This Resolution approves compensation for the legal services of Hoffman, Parker,
Wilson, & Carberry, P.C.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Not applicable to this Resolution.
BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to Section 6-7 of the City Charter, special counsel is retained solely by the
City Attorney but compensation is approved by City Council. The law firm of Hoffman,
Parker, Wilson, & Carberry, P.C. is being retained to advise the City on specialized
issues relating to urban renewal.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This firm's hourly rate for this engagement is $325/hour.

RESOLUTION NO.16035
A RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPENSATION WITH
RESPECT TO A LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
HOFFMANN, PARKER, WILSON, & CARBERRY, P.C.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
Compensation for the legal services of Hoffman, Parker, Wilson, & Carberry, P.C. at the
rate of $325/hour is hereby approved.
SECTION 2.
The officers of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with the
intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.
