A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FROM THE
COUNCIL CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2025 GENERAL
FUND BUDGET TO SCHOOL DISTRICT 60 EDUCATION
FOUNDATION INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000 TO SPONSOR
THE 2025 CORNHOLE AT DUTCH CLARK STADIUM EVENT AT
5:00 PM AT DUTCH CLARK STADIUM ON FRIDAY, JUNE 6, 2025
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
Payment in the amount of $1,000 from the Council Contingencies Account in the 2025
General Fund Budget is authorized to be paid to School District 60 Education Foundation Inc. to
sponsor the 2025 Cornhole at Dutch Clark Stadium event at 5:00 PM on June 6, 2025.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with
the intent of this Resolution to effectuate the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
Attached for consideration is a request for support of the School District 60 Education
Foundation in the amount of $1,000 to sponsor the 2025 Cornhole at Dutch Clark
Stadium event at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 6, 2025.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Council supported this event in 2022 for $1,000.
BACKGROUND:
City Council Member Mark Aliff is requesting $1,000 to sponsor School District 60
Clark Stadium will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 5:00 PM.
Cornhole at Dutch Clark Stadium is a fundraiser to support the District 60 Education
-quality education, ensuring
each student has the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to lead a life of purpose and
impact. Since its launch, the Foundation has bestowed a wealth of grants, which in turn
have produced countless benefits in and out of the classroom. By the end of the Fall
semester, the Foundation will award up to three $5,000 Teacher Team Grants available
to any team of educators in the district to secure items not provided by the school or
ideas. The Foundation also serves as a vehicle for the facilitation of scholarships and as
a catalyst to
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Payment of funds in the amount of $1,000 would be paid from the Council Contingencies
Account in the 2025 General Fund Budget to School District 60 Education Foundation
Inc.
