A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $85,839.50 TO WICKED OUTLAW
CONSTRUCTION, FOR PROJECT NO. 25-045, CONCRETE
IMPROVEMENTS - ELMWOOD GOLF COURSE CART PATH,
SETTING FORTH $15,000 FOR CONTINGENCIES, AND
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, competitive bids for Project No. 25-045, Concrete Improvements - Elmwood
Golf Course Cart Path have been received and examined; AND,
WHEREAS, the proposal of Wicked Outlaw Construction, was the lowest bid determined
to be responsive, and the Committee of Awards recommends to the City Council that it authorize
Project No. 25-045, Concrete Improvements - Elmwood Golf Course Cart Path to be performed;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The City Council authorizes Project No. 25-045, Concrete Improvements - Elmwood Golf
Course Cart Path to be performed, and the contract for said project is hereby awarded to Wicked
Outlaw Construction, in the amount of $85,839.50.
SECTION 2.
The Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City
of Pueblo, a Colorado Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix the seal of the City
thereto and attest same.
SECTION 3.
In addition to the amount of the bid set forth, as aforementioned, an additional amount as
stipulated in this section is hereby established for contingencies and additional work.
SECTION 4.
Funding, in the amount of $100,839.50 shall be from Project Account EW2101 - Cart Path
Repair/Replace - Elmwood.
SECTION 5.
The officers of the City of Pueblo are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 6.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
Attached is a resolution awarding a construction contract to Wicked Outlaw Construction,
for Project No. 25-045, Concrete Improvements - Elmwood Golf Course Cart Path.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
This project will consist of replacing the existing asphalt cart path with a new concrete
path at Elmwood Golf Course.
This Resolution awards the construction contract for the base bid and bid alternate 1 to
Wicked Outlaw Construction.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Funding (including contingencies), in the amount of $100,839.50, will be paid from
Project Account EW2101 - Cart Path Repair/Replace - Elmwood.

None.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
Denial of this resolution will cancel the project.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
