A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE
MAYOR OF GARY MICHELI TO SERVE A THREE-YEAR TERM
EXPIRING APRIL 1, 2028, ON THE FIRE BOARD OF APPEALS
WHEREAS, Mayor Heather Graham has requested confirmation by the City Council of
her appointment of Gary Micheli to the Fire Board of Appeals; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The appointment by the Mayor of Gary Micheli to the Fire Board of Appeals to serve a
three-year term expiring April 1, 2028, shall be and is hereby confirmed by the City Council.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with
this Resolution to implement the appointments described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City
Council.

SUMMARY:
This Resolution confirms the appointment by the Mayor of Gary Micheli to serve a three-
year term expiring April 1, 2028, on the Fire Board of Appeals.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
The Mayor has made appointments to boards and commissions selecting individuals to
serve terms which expire during a particular calendar year and presented them to
Council for approval.
BACKGROUND:
Due to the term expiration of Gary Micheli, there is one spot available to serve a three-
year term expiring April 1, 2028 on the Fire Board of Appeals. Mr. Micheli is term-limited
and has not sat out the full 3-
serving two consecutive terms, an incumbent applicant may not serve again on the same
board or commission until a subsequent full term has transpired, unless the City Council
the resolution would allow the Mayor to appoint Mr. Micheli if deemed necessary.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.
