A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
AND MUTUAL RELEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF PUEBLO, A
COLORADO MUNICIPAL CORPORATION AND PROFESSIONAL
BULL RIDERS, LLC, A DELAWARE LIMITED LIABILITY
COMPANY RELATING TO PARKING FEES AND OTHER CLAIMS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The Settlement Agreement and Mutual Release dated February 24, 2025 between the
City of Pueblo and Professional Bull Riders relating to parking fees and other claims, a copy of
which has been filed in the office of the City Clerk, having been approved as to form by the City
Attorney, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2.
The Mayor is authorized to execute and deliver the Settlement Agreement and Mutual
Release in the name of the City and the City Clerk is directed to affix the seal of the City thereto
and attest the same.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
Attached for consideration is a Resolution approving a Settlement Agreement and Mutual
to parking fees and other asserted claims between the parties.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
A dispute has arisen between the City and PBR relating to the property located at 101
On
October 31, 2024, the City filed suit against PBR in Pueblo County District Court. On
November 27, 2024 PBR provided the City with a Notice of Claim asserting various
allegations against the City. The parties have reached an agreement to resolve all
disputes between them.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Pursuant to the Settlement Agreement and Mutual Release, PBR will pay to the City
$146,625.

Not applicable to this Ordinance.
ALTERNATIVES:
City Council could decide not to approve the Resolution.
