A RESOLUTION RATIFYIOINTMENT
OF DANIEL HAAS TO THE COMMUNITY SERVICES ADVISORY
COMMISSION (CSAC)
WHEREAS, PACOG duly convened and appointed Daniel Haas to complete a four-year
term on the Community Services Advisory Commission (CSAC) expiring on April 30, 2028; it is
now the desire of the Pueblo City Council to ratify said appointment; and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The joint appointment of Daniel Haas to the Community Services Advisory Commission
(CSAC) to complete a four-year term expiring April 30, 2028, shall be and hereby is ratified.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent with
this Resolution to implement the appointment described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.

COMMISSION (CSAC)
SUMMARY:
This resolution ratifies the joint City-County appointment of a member to serve on the
Community Services Advisory Commission (CSAC).
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Joint City-County appointments to the Community Services Advisory Commission
(CSAC) are made on an annual basis selecting individuals to serve expiring or vacant
terms. Resolutions to ratify the joint appointments are passed by each entity.
BACKGROUND:
There is a joint vacancy on the Community Services Advisory Commission (CSAC).
During the PACOG meeting on January 23, 2025, the BOCC and City Council members
reviewed the applications and appointed Daniel Haas to the Community Services
Advisory Commission (CSAC).
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.

N/A
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
N/A
ALTERNATIVES:
City Council in agreement with the County Commissioners could remove the Resolution
from the Agenda, and request that the recruitment process be extended in order to
receive additional applications for consideration.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
