HomeMy WebLinkAbout6276RESOLUTION NO. 6276 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CITY HALL MASONRY RESTORATION, AND AUTHORIZING THE PUR- CHASING AGENT TO EXECUTE THE SAME WHEREAS, proposals for City Hall Masonry Restoration have been received and examined; and WHEREAS, the proposal of Rocky Mountain Restoration, of Littleton, Colorado, was the lowest and most responsible bid; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that: SECTION 1. The contract for City Hall Masonry Restoration be, and the same is hereby awarded to Rocky Mountain Restoration, in the amount of $46,200.00. The awarding of the contract for the project set forth herein shall be subject to sufficient sureties to be approved by the Purchasing Agent of the said City. SECTION 2 The Purchasing Agent be, and he is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix the seal of the City thereto and attest the same. SECTION 3. In addition to the amount of the bid set forth, as aforementioned, an additional amount as stipulated in this section is hereby established for contingencies and additional work. Contingencies and Additional Work- - - - -$ 4,620.00 SECTION 4. Funds for said project shall be paid from Account Number 002 -1987- 100- 000 - 040 -1801 and 002- 1988 - 100 - 000 - 040 -8802.
