HomeMy WebLinkAbout6197RESOLUTION NO. 6197 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND SETTING THE PRICE TO BE PAID FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY AND NAMING THE FAMILIES WHOSE PROPERTY IS TO BE PURCHASED UNDER THE 1988 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT RELOCATION PROGRAM. WHEREAS, the City of Pueblo's 1988 application for Federal funds authorized by Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 has been approved by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and WHEREAS, said applications included funds for the acquisition of 1520 E. 7th Street and 1127 E. 14th Street; and WHEREAS, property to be acquired has been appraised independently by a competent professional appraiser and whereas the appraisal was reviewed by a competent staff appraiser who recommends the acquisition price for the parcel as listed herein; now therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, THAT: SPrtinn 1_ The following price is hereby approved for the acquisition of the following properties: Gary & Cindy Butler (1520 E. 7th Street) Dorothy Brown (1127 E. 14th Street) ATTEST: City Jerk Lots 9 and 10, Block 221, East Pueblo Heights Addition $10,000 Lots 15 and 16, Block 2 Newport $10,500 INTRODUCED May 23, 19 8 8 BY MICHAEL OCCHIATO Councilman APPROVE y PrgAident of Council
