A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AND CERTIFYING ELECTION
RESULTS FOR THE SPECIAL BOND ELECTION HELD
NOVEMBER 3, 1987.
WHEREAS, at a special election duly called and held
within the City of Pueblo (the "City") on Tuesday, November 3,
1987, in conjunction with the City's general election, there was
submitted to the qualified electors of the City the following
question:
Shall the City Council of the City of Pueblo be
authorized to issue the City's general obligation
bonds, in one series or more, from time to time,
in the aggregate principal amount of not exceeding
$2,625,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary,
for the purpose of repairing, replacing,
reconstructing, repaving, and otherwise improving
municipal streets, roads and bridges, including
but not limited to curbs, gutters, culverts and
other drainage facilities, sidewalks, paving,
grading, landscaping, and other street
improvements, and all necessary, incidental and
appurtenant properties and facilities, and related
costs, each series maturing serially commencing
not later than three years and extending not later
than twenty -five years from the date of such
series, payable from annual, general (ad valorem)
tax levies, without limitation as to rate or
amount, except to the extent other moneys are
available therefor, such bonds to be issued and
sold at one time or from time to time in such
manner and amounts, at such interest rates and
upon such terms and conditions as the City Council
may determine, including at the option of the City
Council, provisions for the redemption of bonds
prior to maturity with or without the payment of a
premium?
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received from the Board
of Elections the Certified Statement and Determination showing
the following results:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PUEBLO:
Section 1. The general obligation street and bridge
bond question submitted at the bond election held at the general
municipal election on November 3, 1987 carried and the question
is hereby declared to have been adopted.
Section 2. All action heretofore taken by the City
Council and the officers of the City not inconsistent with the
provisions of this resolution, directed toward the holding of
the election be, and the same hereby is ratified, approved and
confirmed.
Section 3. The officers of the City are hereby
authorized and directed to take all action necessary or appro-
priate to effectuate the provisions of this resolution, includ-
ing without limitation the filing of the Certified Statement
and Determination and this resolution.
Section 4. If any section, paragraph, clause or pro-
vision of this resolution shall for any reason be held to be
invalid or unenforceable, the invalidity or unenforceability of

such section, paragraph, clause or provision shall not affect
any of the remaining provisions of this resolution.
Section 5. All resolutions, bylaws and regulations of
the City in conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed to
the extent only of such inconsistency. This repealer shall not
be construed to revive any resolution, bylaw, or regulation, or
part thereof, heretofore repealed.
Section 6. This resolution, immediately on its final
passage, shall be recorded in the City's book of resolutions
kept for that purpose and authenticated by the signatures of the
President of the Council and Clerk.
Section 7. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect upon its final passage.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this November 9, 1987.
