A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF
COUNCIL MEMBERS TO VARIOUS BOARDS AND
COMMISSIONS FOR THE YEAR 2025
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
Joe Latino and Sarah Martinez are appointed to serve as the Council Representatives
on the City/County Library District Board of Trustees Appointment Committee for one-year
terms expiring January 31, 2026.
SECTION 2.
Roger Gomez is appointed to serve as the Council Representative on the Committee
on Disposition of Forfeited Property for a one-year term expiring January 31, 2026.
SECTION 3.
Sarah Martinez is appointed to serve as the ex-officio on the Latino Chamber
Foundation Board of Directors for a one-year term expiring January 31, 2026.
SECTION 4.
Roger Gomez is appointed to serve as the City Council Representative and Regina
Maestri to serve as the Alternate City Council Representative to serve on the Fountain Creek
Watershed Flood Control & Greenway District Governing Board for one-year terms expiring
January 31, 2026.
SECTION 5.
Mark Aliff is appointed to serve as the Council Representative on the HARP Authority
Board of Directors for a one-year term expiring January 31, 2026.
SECTION 6.
Brett Boston is appointed to serve as the Council Representative on the Planning and
Zoning Commission for a one-year term expiring January 31, 2026.
SECTION 7.
Mark Aliff and Dennis Flores are appointed to serve as the Council Representatives on
the Pueblo Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors for one-year terms
expiring January 31, 2026.
SECTION 8.
Regina Maestri is appointed to serve as the Council Representative on the Pueblo
Regional Building Commission for a one-year term expiring January 31, 2026.
SECTION 9.
Brett Boston is appointed to serve as the Council Representative and Dennis Flores to
serve as the Ex-Officio Member on the Pueblo Urban Renewal Authority for a one-year term
expiring January 31, 2026.
SECTION 10.
Joe Latino is appointed to serve as the Council Representative on the Pueblo Memorial
Airport Advisory Committee for one-year terms expiring January 31, 2026.
SECTION 11.
Sarah Martinez is appointed to serve as the Council Representative on the Community
Commission on Housing & Homelessness for a one-year term expiring January 31, 2026.
SECTION 12.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform all acts consistent with the
intention of this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 13.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage.

SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF COUNCIL

SUMMARY:
This Resolution will appoint a City Council representative to the Boards and
Commissions where it is either required that a Council Member be a member or it has
been the policy to have a Council Member serve on the Board or Commission.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
These appointments are confirmed on an annual basis.
BACKGROUND:
Annual appointments are made assigning a City Council representative to serve on
Boards and Commissions where it is either required by legislation that a Council
Member be a member, or it has been the policy to have a Council Member serve on a
particular Board or Commission. The new terms will expire January 31, 2026.
