HomeMy WebLinkAbout5197RESOLUTION NO. 5197 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND SETTING THE PRICE TO BE PAID FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY IN THE DESIGNATED SPECIAL ACQUISITION - RELOCATION AREA AND NAMING THE FAMILY WHOSE PROPERTY IS TO BE PURCHASED UNDER THE SPECIAL 1983 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT RELOCATION PROGRAM. WHEREAS, The City of Pueblo's 1983 application for Federal funds authorized by Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 has been approved by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and WHEREAS, said application includes funds for the acquisition of 1319 Beech; and WHEREAS, The City's Citizens Committee on Community Development has recommended to City Council the listed family's property be acquired under this program, said recommendation having been made after several meetings in which all factors were considered; and WHEREAS, property to be acquired has been appraised independently by two competent professional appraisers and whereas each of these appraisals was reviewed by a competent staff appraiser who recommends the acquisition price for each individual parcel as listed herein; now there- fore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that: SECTION 1. The following price is hereby approved for the acquisition of 1319 Beech: Floyd & Masedon Chavez A tract 45' x 100' in the NW corner of W 222,5' of Lot 42, Curlissville; and Lots 45- 46- 47 -48, Blk. 211, Fletcher Hill Sub, Pueblo $8,500.00 INTRODUCED July 25, 1983 BY ISAAC C.
