A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE
MAYOR OF SANDRA MORRISON AND MARK GUERRERO TO
SERVE A FOUR-YEAR TERM EXPIRING JANUARY 1, 2029, ON
THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Mayor Heather Graham has requested confirmation by the City Council of
her appointment of Sandra Morrison and Mark Guerrero to the Historic Preservation
Commission; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The appointment by the Mayor of Sandra Morrison and Mark Guerrero to the Historic
Preservation Commission to complete a four-year term expiring June 30, 2025, shall be and is
hereby confirmed by the City Council.
SECTION 2.
The officers and staff of the City are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with this Resolution to implement the appointments described herein.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall become effective on the date of final action by the Mayor and City
Council.

SUMMARY:
This Resolution confirms the appointment by the Mayor of Sandra Morrison and Mark
Guerrero to serve a four-year term expiring January 1, 2029, on the Historic
Preservation Commission
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
The Mayor has made appointments to boards and commissions selecting individuals to
serve terms which expire during a particular calendar year and presented them to
Council for approval.
BACKGROUND:
Due to the normal term expirations of Laurel Campbell and Sandra Morrison, there are
two appointments available to serve a four-year term on the Historic Preservation
Commission. Laurel Campbell is term limited, but Sandra Morrison is eligible for
reappointment.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
This is a volunteer committee and members serve without compensation.
