A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,116.50 TO LUCKY DOG
CONRACTING, FOR PROJECT NO. 24-121, CONCRETE
IMPROVEMENTS - 3920 WEST NORTHERN AVENUE,
SETTING FORTH $2,120 FOR CONTINGENCIES, AND
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO EXECUTE
SAME
WHEREAS, competitive bids for Project No. 24-121, Concrete Improvements - 3920
West Northern Avenue have been received and examined; AND,
WHEREAS, the proposal of Lucky Dog Contracting, was the lowest bid determined to be
responsive, and the Committee of Awards recommends to the City Council that it authorize
Project No. 24-121, Concrete Improvements - 3920 West Northern Avenue to be performed;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The City Council authorizes Project No. 24-121, Concrete Improvements - 3920 West
Northern Avenue to be performed, and the contract for said project is hereby awarded to Lucky
Dog Contracting, in the amount of $14,116.50.
SECTION 2.
The Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City
of Pueblo, a Colorado Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix the seal of the City
thereto and attest same.
SECTION 3.
In addition to the amount of the bid set forth, as aforementioned, an additional amount
as stipulated in this section is hereby established for contingencies and additional work.
SECTION 4.
Funding, in the amount of $16,236.50 shall be from Project Account HUAN01 - Street
Resurfacing.
SECTION 5.
The officers of the City of Pueblo are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 6.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
Attached is a Resolution awarding a construction contract to Lucky Dog Contracting, for
Project No. 24-121, Concrete Improvements - 3920 West Northern Avenue.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
This project will include concrete improvements and construction of curb ramps on both
corners of 3920 W. Northern Avenue driveway.
This Resolution awards the construction contract to Lucky Dog Contracting.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Funding (including contingencies), in the amount of $16,236.50, will be paid from
Project Account HUAN01, Street Resurfacing

None.
STAKEHOLDER PROCESS:
None.
ALTERNATIVES:
Denial of this resolution will cancel the project.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the Resolution.
