A RESOLUTION FINDING SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE
WITH SECTION 31 -12- 107(1), C.R.S. 1973 (AS
AMENDED) OF THE PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF
THE TERRITORY COMMONLY KNOWN AND DESCRIBED
AS THE 100 BLOCK OF PARK DRIVE
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation of the territory described in Section
1 hereof has been filed with the City Clerk;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1
The Petition for Annexation of the following described territory situated in
Pueblo County, Colorado, is hereby found and determined to be in substantial com-
pliance with the provisions of Section 31 -12- 107(1), C.R.S. 1973 (as amended):
All of Parkway Subdivision, according to the recorded plat
thereof and a portion of Lots 1 thru 4, Newson and Robertson
Subdivision, according to the recorded plat thereof, being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of Carlile Avenue
extended East, and the East line of Section 33, Township
20 South, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M.; thence West along the
South line of Carlile Avenue and the South line of Carlile
Avenue extended East, a distance of 138.5 feet; thence North
and parallel to the East line of said Section 33 to a point
on the South line of said Parkway Subdivision; thence West
along the South line of said Parkway Subdivision to the South-
west corner of said Parkway Subdivision; thence South along
the West line of said Parkway Subdivision extended South to
a point 350 feet North of the North line of Carlile Avenue;
thence West and parallel to the North line of Carlile Avenue,
a distance of 243.3 feet; thence South and parallel to the
East line of Lot 4, Newson and Robertson Subdivision, a dis-
tance of 132.20 feet; thence West and parallel to the North
line of Carlile Avenue, a distance of 100.00 feet to a point
on the East line of Lot 4, Newson and Robertson Subdivision;
thence North along said East line, a distance of 82.20 feet;
thence West and parallel to the North line of Carlile Avenue,
a distance of 116.5 feet to a point on the East line of Troy
Subdivision, according to the recorded plat thereof; thence
North along said East line to a point on the South right -of-
way line of the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad; thence
Easterly along said South right -of -way line to the Northeast
corner of Parkway Subdivision; thence South along the East
line of said Parkway Subdivision and the East line of Lot 1,
Newsom and Robertson Subdivision, and the said East line ex-
tended Southerly, to the point of beginning; said described
parcel contains 12.9 acres.
SECTION 2.
A public hearing to determine whether said proposed annexation complies
with the appropriate provisions of Sections 31 -12 -104 and 31 -12 -105, C.R.S.
1973 (as amended), or such parts thereof as may be required to establish
eligibility under the provisions of the Municipal Annexation Act of 1965
shall be held before the City Council in Council Chambers, Second Floor,
City Hall, One City Hall Place, Pueblo, Colorado, on Monday, August 22, 1983,
commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. or as soon thereafter as Council business
allows.
