A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY
RIGHT -OF -WAY IMPROVEMENTS, AND AUTHORIZ-
ING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO EXECUTE THE
SAME
WHEREAS, proposals for Mountain View Cemetery Right -of -way Improvements
have been received and examined; and
WHEREAS, the proposal of J & J Paving, of Pueblo, Colorado, was the lowest
and most responsible bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO,
that:

A contract for Mountain View Cemetery Right -of -way Improvements be, and the
same is hereby awarded to said bidder in the amount of $12,158.86, subject to the
filing of sufficient sureties to be approved by the Purchasing Agent of said City.

The Purchasing Agent be, and he is hereby authorized to execute said con-
tract on behalf of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix
the seal of the City thereto and attest the same.
SECTION 3.
In addition to the amount of the bid set forth, as aforementioned, an addi-
tional amount as set forth in this section is hereby established for contingencies:
Contingencies - - - - - - - - - - - -$ 5,300.00
SECTION 4.
Funds for said project shall be paid from Account Number 002 - 1983 - 100- 0 -040-
2057, in the amount of the bid and contingencies, if any, as follows:
Construction- - - - - - - - - - - - - $12,158.86
Contingencies - - - - - - - - - - - - 5,300.00
