A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO PURCHASE LAND FOR THE FAU PROJECT AT
PRAIRIE AVE. AND O'NEAL AVE.
WHEREAS, the City of Pueblo has been negotiating
with the United Pentecostal Church for the acquisition of a
certain parcel of land in the City of Pueblo for the improvement
of the intersection of Prairie Ave. and O'Neal Ave., now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO,
that:
SECTION 1.
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
purchase, at a cost of $4,000.00 for and on behalf of the City
of Pueblo, a certain parcel of land legally described as:
A portion of Lot 2, Block 13, Beulah Heights,
lst Filing. Beginning at the Southeast corner of
said Lot 2; thence North 02 23' East and along the
East line of said Lot 2, a distance of 52.38 ft.;
thence South 74 22' West a distance of 152.97 ft.
to a point on the South line of said Lot 2; thence
Easterly along said South line to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2.
The purchase amount of $4,000.00 for this parcel of
land shall be paid from account 002 -1981- 100 - 000 - 040 -1023.

AGREEMENT has been reached this �I / day of ___ June A.D. , 19
between the owner or owners of the designated parcel or parcels and Pueblo, a Municipal
Corporation, for the purchase of said parcel. or parcels. The amounts to be paid, and
other considerations to be given in full satisfaction of the Agreement, are as follows:

The proposed acquisition is legally described as follows:
A portion of Lot 2, Block 13, Beulah Heights lst Filing, more particulary
described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 2;
thence North 02 23' East and along the East line of said Lot, a distance
of 52.38 feet; thence South 74 22' West a distance of 152.97 feat to a
point on the South line of said Lot 2; thence Easterly along said South
line to the point of beginning. Said parcel of land contains .1.00 Acres
more or less.
For Improvements:
TOTAL $3,
1. Ta xes and Special A ssessments , if any, delinquent from former years, Taxes and
Special assessments for the current year, if due and /or payable, shall be paid
by the vendor or vendors.
2. Th Memorandum embodies the whole Agreement between the parties hereto, and there
are no promises, terms, conditions or obligations referring to the subjc•.(.t matter
hereof, other than as contained herein.
3. The vendor or vendors hereby agree that the compensation herein provided to be paid,
include Full Compensation for their interests and the interests of their life tenants,
remaindermen, reversioners, lienors, and lessees, and any and all other legal and
equitable interests which are or may be outstanding, and said vendor or vendors agree
to discharge the same.
4. T his AReement shall be deemed a CONTRACT extending to and binding upon the parties
hereto and upon the respective heirs, devisees, exer-utor.s, administrators, legal
representatives, successors and assigns of the parties, only when the same shall
have been approved by ohe of the following, on behalf of the City: City Manager,
City Attorney.
Of the total. amount of compensation hereabove agreed upon, the sum.of. $
shall be paid upon execution and delivery of a good and sufficient:
Special Warranty Deed, Warranty Deed Quit Claim Deed
AND THE BALANCE. OI' THE COMPENSATION, AMOUNTING TO $ payable to

The terms of this Agreement are understood and assented to by us and payment is to
be made in accordance with the above. It is further understood and agreed that,
except as noted or specified above, IMMEDIATE POSSESSION of said premises, and the
right to enter thereon, is HEREBY GRANTED to Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, its
duly authorized Agents and Contractors.
T his Agreement is sub ject to approval of the City Manager and the City Council.
