A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,830 TO CEDAR RIDGE LANDSCAPE,
INC., FOR PROJECT NO. 24-130, BRADFORD PARK -
BASKETBALL COURT CONCRETE AND FENCING
IMPROVEMENTS (CDBG), SETTING FORTH $5,000 FOR
CONTINGENCIES, AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING
AGENT TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, competitive bids for Project No. 24-130, Bradford Park - Basketball Court
Concrete and Fencing Improvements (CDBG) have been received and examined; AND,
WHEREAS, the proposal of Cedar Ridge Landscape, Inc., was the lowest bid
determined to be responsive, and the Committee of Awards recommends to the City Council
that it authorize Project No. 24-130, Bradford Park - Basketball Court Concrete and Fencing
Improvements (CDBG) to be performed; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1.
The City Council authorizes Project No. 24-130, Bradford Park - Basketball Court
Concrete and Fencing Improvements (CDBG) to be performed, and the contract for said project
is hereby awarded to Cedar Ridge Landscape, Inc., in the amount of $26,830.00.
SECTION 2.
The Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City
of Pueblo, a Colorado Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix the seal of the City
thereto and attest same.
SECTION 3.
In addition to the amount of the bid set forth, as aforementioned, an additional amount
as stipulated in this section is hereby established for contingencies and additional work.
SECTION 4.
Funding, in the amount of $31,830.00 shall be from Project Account CD2212 Bradford
Basketball Court Rehab.
SECTION 5.
The officers of the City of Pueblo are authorized to perform any and all acts consistent
with this Resolution to implement the policies and procedures described herein.
SECTION 6.
This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval.

SUMMARY:
Attached is a resolution awarding a construction contract to Cedar Ridge Landscape
Inc., for Project No. 24-130, Bradford Park - Basketball Court Concrete and Fencing
Improvements (CDBG).
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
None.
BACKGROUND:
This project will consist of concrete ADA accessibility improvements and chain link
fencing upgrades to Bradford Park basketball court.
This Resolution awards the construction contract to Cedar Ridge Landscape, Inc.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS:
Funding (including contingencies), in the amount of $31,830.00, will be paid from
Project Account CD2212, Bradford Basketball Court Rehab

ALTERNATIVES:
Denial of this resolution will cancel the project.
RECOMMENDATION:
