That the City Clerk be directed to write a let�*er
to the Trustees of the Pueblo Water Worka asking
them to discontinue public or.austom weighing on
their scales, said letter to be dictated by the
City Attorneys.

Dear Sir:
Replying to your letter of N ovemeb r 28th, with
feference to public weighing on our scales.
I am directed by the Trustees of the Pueblo
Water Works to inform you that we will discontinue public
weighing on our scales.
We have this date posted the following notice
for the information of our employees which notice is
self explanatory and we will endeavor to have it com—
lied with.
NOTICE
'Notice is hereby given that the employees 6f
The Pueblo Water Works are directed and forbidden to do
any public weighing over the scales of the Pueblo 'Pater
Works. This notice to be effective December 1st, 1927.
Permission is given to any Engineer on duty to
make a weight for any one desiring the same, provided it
appears that it is a case of an extreme emergency, with
the understanding that there is to be no charges made for
such weight.
