To The Council of Pueblo
Pueblo, Colorado
Gentlemen:
I respectfully request to be retired on a pension. I am 62
years of age. I have been a resident of Pueblo over 40 years. I have been
a member of the Police Department of Pueblo since about 1910 and for
six years before that was a member of the Fire Department of Pueblo. I
am now disabled by rheumatism, neuritis, high blood pressure and use of my
left side so that I am unable to perform the duties of a patrolman and
I respectfully ask to be retired on a pension.
Yours Sincerely.
J. L. Day
