Day a patrolman in the Police Department asking to be retired on a pension be received and filed and his request be granted, and he be retired from service as a patrolman in the Police Department of Pueblo, and be placed on a pension and paid the amount monthly provided by law and that same be effective as of Aug. 1, 1927 Introduced August 2, 1927 By Chas. B. Clark Pueblo, Colorado July 30 1927 To The Council of Pueblo Pueblo, Colorado Gentlemen: I respectfully request to be retired on a pension. I am 62 years of age. I have been a resident of Pueblo over 40 years. I have been a member of the Police Department of Pueblo since about 1910 and for six years before that was a member of the Fire Department of Pueblo. I am now disabled by rheumatism, neuritis, high blood pressure and use of my left side so that I am unable to perform the duties of a patrolman and I respectfully ask to be retired on a pension.
