Many years a. o a certificate for a lot in the Mountain View
Cemetery was issued to VIU Im 'A: Tigton. In 1889 Maude Wigton, a
daughter of Will iam A. Wigton was burried on the lot . Later William A.
Wigton and his wife, Cora ;7igton were separated by divorce. The custd�dy
of the "Ti• ton children were given to Coin 7igton and tlrs certificate for
this cemtery lot was left with her and William A. Wigton left the state
of Colorado . Later Cora Wigton married Cyrus P. Conrad, your petitioner
herein. Cora ;7igton-- Conrad died in 19 - 19 and was berried on dais lot
and the certificate of this lot passed to the possession of your
petitioner and since 1909 your petitianer has been in possession of
and cared for said lot. This certificate has never been transferred
but your petitioner and his::pswd"essors In ra rest have been in the
open, notori ^us and adverse-- possession of this lot for rmz-- than twenty
years and your petitioner hereby surrerBers said cer' ificate to the city
of Pueblo and respectfully requests that a certificate for said lot be
issued to him so that at the time of his demise he may be burried on
said lot beside his wife.
